Payment

I am a participating provider with Anthem BlueCross BlueShield Insurance Company, excluding the Medicare division.

If you want to work with me and do not have Anthem BlueCross BlueShield insurance, you can ask your insurance carrier about your costs for working with me on an out-of-network basis.  The way this works is that I receive full payment from you for the sessions and then I provide the information necessary for you to complete a claim for submission to your insurance using your out-of-network benefits.  Your insurance will send you a check for the amount that your contract reimburses for out-of-network counseling services.

I also accept private pay clients who do not want to use insurance, who are uninsured, or who have insurance that I do not accept. In these cases, a “good faith estimate” will be provided to those who request it per the “No Surprises Act Good Faith Estimate” rules. The fee for a 55 minute session is $157.

The following methods of payment are accepted: cash, debit card, major credit cards, and Health Savings Account Charge Card.
